Each Weapon and weapon type in Curse of the Dead Gods has its own Attack Moves and Combos, which have different effects and deal varying amounts of damage.

There are five Attack Moves in total :

  • Regular Attacks are launched by pressing the Attack button.
  • Charged Attacks are launched by keeping the Attack button pressed for a while, then releasing it.
  • Combo Finishers are launched by chaining a specific number of (Regular or Charged) attacks. The resulting attack chain is called a Combo.
  • Off-Hand Combos are launched by attacking with the Off-hand Weapon immediately after attacking with the Main Weapon.
  • Perfect Shots are essentially Charged Attacks that must be released within a precise time window.

The effects and damage dealt by the different Attack Moves vary greatly between weapon types. Some moves deal higher damage, interrupt regular Enemies, deal Critical Damage, launch a sequence of fast attacks, etc.

List of Attack Moves by Weapon type[ | ]

The following tables describe the default Attack Moves for each Weapon type, as well as their effects. "Damage Multiplier" is expressed as a percentage of base damage, which is unique for each weapon.

  • The "Damage Multiplier" value only indicates the inherent damage multiplier of the attack move in question, and does NOT take into account the damage multipliers of Critical Hits. Critical Hit multipliers can be increased by the Player (thanks to some Relics and Affixes) and, as such, are variable. See Damage Formula for more information.

Note that some Weapons cannot perform Attack Combos. The number of attacks required to perform a combo will be indicated if the weapon type is able to do one.
