Blood Priest

Blood Priests are enemies in the Jaguar Temple in Curse of the Dead Gods.
They summon Lurkers or Elite Lurkers and heal other enemies.

Basic versions can then be found in tiers 1, 2, and 3 of the Temple. Elite versions can only be found in tier 3.

Blood Priests are incredibly bloodied. They wear a skull on their heads with several feathers potruding out either side. They wear a robe from the waist down and their skin is grey.

Journal entries[ | ]

I have met proof that the Chatac priests mastered a form of blood magic that could be used to heal or drain the life from a victiom. They can reduce their bodies to a pool of liquid and then reclaim shape to continue their fight when the advantage suits them. Though the process must be terribly painful, it appears they feel nothing.

There is a cruelty in the priests' eyes that I fear I am now reflecting in my own. Each gift of T'amok' bears an insidious price. The less suffering I feel, the easier it is to inflict pain upon my enemies. Will the price of my escape strip me from my humanity?

"They travelled here and there, jumping through pools of their own blood." - Confessions of Pablo Cordoba
