Journal entries[ | ]

The ancient sciences taught to her followers by the Goddess Yaatz are beyond our century's understading. I have seen women once made of flesh and blood transformed into walking sculptures, their skin hardened to a density nearer that of marbe than meat. These armored protectresses move with bottled lightning coursing through their veins. When they sleep, they are practically invincible. When awoken, they are lumbering visions of death.

Xbeltz'aloc despises these statuesque maidens that roam the temple floors of the Eagle Goddess. Perhaps it is because they are no longer mortal nor completely dead, they've become simply things, creations of Yaatz transformed in death, killers that can neither feel pleasure nor pain, purpose nor hope.

"I can still hear the God of Death laughing as he watched us die, stomped into a pulp by our own creations" - Conversations with the Deceased by Belinda Davenport
